     The clouds are beautiful today.  Yesterday not so much.  I took Mom out to an appointment and as we were leaving the rain was falling in buckets!  In my quest to make light of the situation I began to do my best Gene Kelly singing in the rain rendition.  Mom never noticed, she was too busy trying to stay afloat.  There were however people sitting in their vehicles trying to stay dry and  I noticed one lady had a smile on her face.  I hope it made her day!  It sure made mine.  Keeping it young at heart!

     Well, I either start writing on this blog or I don't.  I've spent so much time trying to make the blog look presentable but I'm no expert and I still don't know what I'm doing!  So I might just as well just start posting and hopefully as time goes on I will gain a better understanding of how to accomplish a good blog.

     I think I'll start by introducing myself.  My name is Joanne Young.  I'm not young although I don't feel old. I'm 56.  I chose the name YAH Jewelry Design or Young At Heart Jewelry Design for a couple of reasons.  Firstly because my last name is Young and secondly because I love the idea of always being young at heart no matter how old you are!

     My reason for starting this blog is to gain exposure for the jewelry that I make.  I started creating jewelry about five years ago.  Creating isn't something new for me though I've been putting things together ever since I was a little girl and I am very content to do so.
